MICHAEL W. COLLINS, FRI
PROFILE
Michael is a Senior Commercial Broker with Prudential Elfa Realty. He possesses over 23 years experience, with the past 18 years as a commercial and investment real estate professional serving the GTA.
Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors of the William Osler Health Centre. As one of the largest hospitals corporations in Ontario, William Osler has three acute care sites, with a fourth hospital currently under construction in Brampton, scheduled to open in July 2007. As a regional referral centre, Osler provides programs and services for nearly one million area residents.
Michael is a Past President of the Brampton Board of Trade having served as it's President in the year 2003/04. The Brampton Board of Trade has served the needs of Brampton's business community since 1887 and currently represents the interests of over 1100 members, that range from the single person business to multi-national corporations.
Michael is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI), and is a member of the National Commercial Council of the Canadian Real Estate Association and the CCIM Institute.
During his 23 years in real estate, he has served his profession in many capacities. Michael was President of the Brampton Real Estate Board (BREB) for 2 years in 1993 & 1994 and he was a Director of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) in 1997. He also served as Chairman of the OREA's Commercial Council for 3 years. Throughout his real estate career, Michael has served on various committees with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), the Brampton Real Estate Board (BREB) and the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB).
An avid sports enthusiast, Michael enjoys hockey & skiing during the winter and golf & sailing throughout the summer.
